Capital City Drywall Inc is committed to providing a high quality of workmanship from the start, beginning with the production phase and with special attention to Customer Care. capital city Drywall Inc has a highly reputable history of communicating with home builders’ superintendents, trade superintendents and homeowners. Communication is an essential component for any business and Capital City Drywall has learned new and improved ways to expedite the construction process. We work together with you as a team to complete the project and make the customer happy. We do whatever is necessary to eliminate any issues that may come up such as framing or ceiling problems. We are problem solvers.

The following are some of the methods we use to achieve this:

• Extra strength ceiling board with reinforced edges is used to drastically reduce ridging, beading and ceiling sagging
• All our sheetrock is secured using screws
• 54” wide sheetrock is used to reduce the amount of joints in nine foot high rooms
• 5/8” sheetrock may be used on interior ceilings more prone to movement
• A double layer of texture may be added to alleviate any photographing that may occur
• A specially made sealer may also be used in some severe cases of ceiling joint visibility

We pride ourselves on paying attention to the little things, so we have established special procedures in our stages of production.

• Marking the floors for light boxes, medicine cabinets or any cutout areas
• Cutout of areas that have a strap, pipe or any object to eliminate bulges or crooked lines
• Cutouts are pre-filled and taped
• Caulking all corners in all livable areas prior to painting
• Masking of fireplaces
• Exposed concrete areas are covered -Garage floors -patios and porches
• Sweeping, trash and nail pick up
• Tubs completely cleaned out
• Prepaint touch up

At high-volume communities such as *********, we also provide Quality Control specialists in order to catch and eliminate all defects before the final stages of production. We are dedicated to doing whatever it takes to achieve nothing but the highest quality product. Our Quality Control experts focus on the following:

• Closely monitoring each individual element of production from start to finish
• Monitoring any defects discovered during construction and ensuring their elimination
• Working hand-in-hand with other trades and coordinating all production and repair efforts to isolate and resolve any problem at its root

Customer Care is our specialty.

• Response to all calls within 24 hours
• Setting exact times for our homeowners appointments
• Keeping in constant contact with our repairmen, through radios and phones
• Customer Care vans specially equipped and dedicated to serving homeowners after move in

Our communication skills are our forte when dealing with other trades to minimize or eliminate any issues and purchase order work. Along with all of the prep and clean up procedures in production, we keep in touch with you by way of your starts and superintendents in relation to custom options and late changes. We will review any potential issues and work with the other trades on any issues that do arise.

SERVICES

We’re always in constant contact with our field personnel. When you have an emergency that needs immediate attention, we’re always there when you need us. We believe that doing the job right during the production phase means there’s less touch-up on the back end. For example, all of our completed houses receive a pre-paint inspection following sanding to make sure the surface is ready for paint. We also make sure our finishers don’t crown the ceiling joints by applying too much mud. Painters love our work. We continually strive to set new standards of performance. All of our employees undergo thorough and continuous training in how to do their job the right way, every time. Capital City Drywall can supply just about any texture you desire, while most of our work is accomplished with a knockdown, a skip trowel, or a santa fe type texture. Over the past 10 years, Capital City Drywall has been “on schedule” better than 99% of the time. This includes the “rush” houses that may have to be done a little quicker due to encroaching closing dates. This has been accomplished without sacrificing quality. We realize that every customer’s home is their castle and we treat it accordingly.

MATERIALS

We use only the highest quality materials. We use sag-resistant ceiling board with reinforced smooth wall edge on all our interior ceilings. We fasten the board with screws so that it is held firmly to the trusses with no nail pops or dimples. We use Hamilton joint compound for taping and coating. We have found that there is less shrinkage and photographing with Hamilton brand products.

EMPLOYEES

Capital City Drywall understands the importance of its employees. We have established a profit-sharing plan, and administer a 401K plan. We also provide medical insurance, dental companies, supplemental insurance companies and tax saving plans as job incentives for our full time, long term employees. Our office and warehouse accommodations have been built with them in mind. The office has a full kitchen, stocked with snacks and drinks, while the warehouse also has a kitchen area, coffee ready and drinks available, for when the field workers pick up their supplies in the morning. The warehouse is setup to provide easy access for supplies to be picked up, and an area for employees to fill out applications.
